As an Architect you are probably very familiar with designing for an aging population and the built environment, Seniors Housing, Health Care, Accessibility and much more. However, have you taken time to consider how an aging profession of architects and an aging construction work force can affect a firm, a construction project or contract administration? This presentation will touch upon some of trends arising from an aging industry and propose some best practises from human resources to Contract Administration technology.

David Lopes is a Registered Architect, with a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Technical University of Nova Scotia in and prior to that a BEng in Mechanical engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada. David has over 25 years of experience practising in the field of architecture and over this time has increasingly specialized in Contract Administration. He is the founder of the Contract Administration software “RForm” that helps Architects and their firms manage and organize contract administration.
