Ethics & Professional Conduct in North America

Description:

Ethics and professional conduct is always a relevant concern that causes us to consider our actions within the architectural profession. Ethics and professional conduct is a platform which architects must embrace, to understand how their values impact society and the built environment. Architects cannot be leaders and respected by their clients, the public, fellow professionals and the construction industry as a whole if they do not practice from that platform. This program will use the Architects’ Association of New Brunswick’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct (By-Law No. 14.1 through 14.6) and the RAIC’s Vision, Mission, and Values as a starting point. It will cause attendees to reflect and be prepared for the inevitable ethical and professional conduct dilemma when it occurs.
