Southlands and Paul Reynolds Community Centres: a case study of Atlantic Canada's first uses of CLT

Description:

This case study describes these projects from conception to completion. The key features of these beautiful new community centers are the mass timber roof structures. CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) is not new to Canada, but it is new to Atlantic Canada. Rob Menchenton will discuss how design and construction challenges were overcome, as well as outcomes and lessons learned.
