Supporting Inclusivity in Architecture

Description:

Presented by the RAIC Emerging Practitioners

Discussions surrounding immigration, gender equality, the prevalence of harassment in and outside of the workplace, and discrimination of all kinds are at the forefront of contemporary discourse. How are these issues playing out within the profession of architecture? How do the
experiences of becoming licensed, of working in the profession, and of starting a practice differ for different demographic groups? What tools do we have to identify and assess these differences and what tools can we develop or promote in order to support and transition towards
a more inclusive profession? This session presents the data, asks for more, and invites you to become part of the solution.
