Tour of Ministers Island and the Sir William Van Horne Estate

Departure at 7:00 a.m. from Hilton Lobby, Return to Hilton at 2:00 p.m.

Delegates will leave the hotel by motorcoach and travel to Ministers Island, a 500-acre island located near St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, New Brunswick where Sir William Van Horne lived with his family during the summer months. This national and provincial historic site is accessible only at low tide by driving or walking on the seafloor.

On this panoramic and scenic tour, delegates will have a guided tour of Covenhoven, the 50-room sandstone mansion, Bath House, a circular bathhouse and tidal saltwater swimming pool, and one of the most unusual barns and creameries in Canada, along with many other historical and unique buildings.

A boxed breakfast and lunch will be provided.
